Ash The Dream Chaser

I write to feed my shadows in a socially acceptable way. With the appropriate trigger warnings, at least. I’ve been telling wild stories to myself ever since I learned how to think in words. My dolls and teddy bears lived through dangerous quests in fantasy realms rather than enjoy domestic warmth at a tea party.

I wrote my first stories in my native Polish when I was fourteen, but I didn’t share my work till I was twenty-two and posted my English short stories on a writing-sharing website.

Since then, I’ve been a financial specialist, a software developer, and now a psychology student to finally understand the choices my characters make. Because yes, they do have lives of their own, and my initial story idea rarely survives to the end.

And that’s the best thing about writing — you get to read the stories no one else has even seen yet.
